True elegance asks more than dress and deportment. At its heart lies a supple, unshakeable spirit.
Born in the Yamate district of Yokohama and raised in a family versed in Western manners and culture. Spent her early childhood abroad.
As a tour conductor she encountered the cultures and histories of the world, building learning and experience in Canada and London. She also performed as a semi-professional ballroom dancer.
At a distinguished finishing school in London, she earned the International Social Etiquette Specialist and other qualifications, becoming an expert in international protocol.
On returning to Japan she founded ICPA, the only internationally accredited protocol academy in the country, recognised as Japan’s representative school by a global protocol body.
She founded The Elegance Academy, devoting herself to elegance education for women.
